Functionally interface it the same and old iconv supports less amount of charsets and is buggy (alpha coredumps, i386 dead loops). I think we can 1) Install giconv without g prefix 2) Mark iconv as BROKEN 3) Let corresponding port maintainers remove 'g' prefix hack patches. -- Andrey A.
