I have an IBM rack mount server with an IBM ServeRAID 4Lx SCSI RAID Controller. I downloaded the FreeBSD 4.7 ISO, but I don't think it supports the card because it shows up as an unknown device on boot up. On http://www.tux.org/pub/bsd/freebsd/FreeBSD-current/src/share/misc/pci_ve ndors It lists the card as 020E ServeRAID 4Lx SCSI RAID Controller Is this only in FreeBSD -current possibly? The raid is going to be my boot up device, so I will need to make a bootable cd of -current. Is there an easy way to do this? What does everyone recommend?
