Good Morning, I am running Freebsd3.0-stable, using my box for ip aliasing through ppp. In my /etc/rc.local, it loads with ppp -ddial -alais xxx This problem developed yesterday. ppp would dial the ISP, connect for approximately 20 seconds, and then dump core. When I restarted ppp manually, it would not function correctly. I tried running through the core file, but couldn't come up with anything conclusive. This box has been functioning perfectly for almost 6 months. Nothing on it was changed, and there were no power spikes/etc. I thought it was very strange that it just decided to stop working. Any ideas? --Chris To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
