I've got a dual-booted system (Win95 is my other OS) which recognizes my card as "SoundBlaster 16 or AWE32", irq5, dma1, dma5, i/o ranges 0x220-0x22F, 0x330-0x331, 0x388-0x38B. I've recompiled my kernel with the following lines included: # SOUND STUFF HERE options SBC_IRQ=5 #PAS-16. Must match irq on sb0 line. controller snd0 controller pnp0 device sb0 at isa? port 0x220 irq 5 drq 1 vector sbintr device sbxvi0 at isa? drq 5 device sbmidi0 at isa? port 0x330 device opl0 at isa? port 0x388 device awe0 at isa? port 0x220 # END When I boot, sb0, sbxvi0, sbmidi0 and opl0 are not found. awo0 is found at 0x220 but then I get the line "AWE32 NOT FOUND". What's up wioth that? Finally, when I run sh /dev/MAKEDEV pnp0 and snd0, MAKEDEV fails quietly. Maybe I have to modify the script somehow. FWIW, my motherboard is a Titanium I P51430TX which supports a pnp OS. Does anybody know what I'm missing?
