The PnP code is not used BY the old audio code, of course, but what has changed is that the new PnP code fails to _initialize and set up_ the card correctly... I verified this by testing the new drivers and using dsp0, dspW0, etc. This has not happened (IRQ/DMA timeout error) before the new PnP code was added; the old code worked perfectly.
