The suffix of 26 is there to use the libgnomeuimm 2.6.x (x11-
toolkits/libgnomeuimm26) and dependencies, instead of the old
libgnomeuimm 2.0.0 (x11-toolkits/libgnomeuimm).

The gtkmm26 and gnomemm26 ports are compiled with g++ 3.3 which are not
compatible with the g++ code produced by gcc 2.95.x. The old gtkmm en
gnomemm ports can indeed be build with gcc 2.95,x.
