FWIW, I have had similar problems with an A/Open motherboard --
random sig11s, sig10s, internal compiler errors, you name it.  They
were all solved by taking the exact same chip, boards, hard drive,
and everything else and putting them on an ASUS P/I-P55T2P4.  That
A/Open board was on its last legs, I found out shortly thereafter.
