hi gregory,

you might want to qualify that a little.. the branches/source dist is
stale, yep, since i haven't (until recently) had some time to figure
out how to keep it updated regularly.  thanks for bringing it back onto
my radar though.

the rest of the archive should be up to date (e.g releases, packages)

a blanket statement that it's "very stale" might imply the archive is
considered totally useless.
