I've apparently done something to my mouse setting. After booting,
moving the mouse gives the following error

/Kernel psmintr out of sync 0000 ! = 0008

I have a mouse cursor at all times, and moving it gives me huge
amounts of the above error, over and over.

Can someone determine what I have done and/or tell me how to fix it?
