Please note, that there were a few attempts in the past, one of them
running since March 2014 (!)

but there seems to be something magical which prevents it to come
true.

If I understand correctly, we fear that some dependency will break
and therefore, no-one wants to commit any version 8-}

Someone has to break the spell...
