Mixing CPUs?  Yes and no.  It should be possible, but the CPUs really
should be the same `stepping'.  This isn't possible with a MMX and a
non-MMX processor, as the Core voltages are different (and motherboard
manufacturers only provide one voltage selection mechanism, as well
as one clock-selecting mechanism -- theoretically you can run the
CPUs are differnt speeds as long as the BUS speed is the same).

It would be nice if motherboard manufacturers started shippping dual
boards with two sets of clock-multiplier jumpers.  (Of course, you could
do this yourself, but I have a feeling that cutting traces and running
patch-wires might have adverse effects on the warranty).
