That's odd; the only reason this occurs is when the RX side is so
badly noisy, it can't find a quiet period to complete the noise floor
load/update.

Please file a PR. I'm a bit snowed under at the moment but I'll see if
I can find anything obvious.

Can you try with a different base station? I just wonder whether this
is a case where the base station is getting angry and transmitting a
burst of noise or something..
