Just upgraded from 12.1-RELEASE-p10 to 12.2-RELEASE and experiencing exactly
the same issue with an RX580 using the latest drm-fbsd12.0-kmod-4.16.g20200=

binary package. Booting with the old kernel (12.1) works, but booting with =
the
new (12.2) kernel produces the same backtrace as in the OP's screenshot.
Unfortunately there is no crash dump in /var/crash either.
