I'm afraid I don't know what you're referring to; do you have a
pointer?

In general, I prefer not to add patches to the port that do not either 
address FreeBSD-specific issues or come from upstream, and given the
upstream two week release cycle the latter has turned out not to be
much of a delay recently. ;-)
