I loaded snd_sb16 the message was: Nov 1 22:10:42 Chiko /kernel: sbc0: at port 0x220-0x22f,0x388-0x38b,0x330-0x331 irq 5 drq 1,0 on isa0 Nov 1 22:10:42 Chiko /kernel: pcm0: on sbc0. But when i started xwindows 3.3.6 with KDE 2.2.1 a terrific sound went out of the speakers. It was the same when i was trying to play an mp3.I don`t know if it is important tha the BIOS detects my sound card with dma 1,3. After all i decided to recompile my kernel.I have attached my config file to this later according with a part of /var/log/messages for errors review. I uncomentet some line in scsi section and i was hoping that the followin errow would disappear errors config>bt0....etc but no.The only result was that i failed to compile kernel. The error was something like "can`t load object in bt.c.Now with my original kernel i have problems with X windows too. The error is "There was error setting up interprocesss communication for KDE.THe message returned by system was: Could not read network connection list /home/baniza/.DCOPserver_chiko_:0".
