I've been using Linux distros and FreeBSD for a while on my PC's. I have never understood why APM suspend and standby don't work on my machines. After about a minute or so the machine wakes up again. Is this just a problem on PCs or does it happen on laptops also? Is it because processes still running and polling even though the CPU is supposedly suspended? Is there an easy way to make suspend work? Thanks! David To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
