It's not a good idea to commit stuff to a repository without any sort
of description.  You will soon curse when you have to look at each
diff in turn when you want to know what that change that magically
unbroke your application last month was... or something similar.

Putting that aside, look at the description of the -m option in the
output of "cvs ci --help".
