IIRC gnustep is the main user of USES=objc but technically it's not yours, I just remember it that way. There's similar code in Uses/compiler.mk. That's definitely not yours, but part of a related conversion about when devel/llvm34 is going to be moved out of ports. In DPorts we changed this to llvm38 months ago without any issues.
