I installed 5.0-CURRENT snapshot on one computer about 2 weeks ago and tried Linux JDK 1.3 on it. Results were similar to those on 4.3-RELEASE ie. hotspot VM works to some extent but complex threaded applications like Apache JServ or Tomcat crash it. There has been some thread- (and linux emulation) related discusision on -current mailing list but I don't know if anything has happened yet. Ari S. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Thomas T.
