>What's ssh? ssh is intended as a replacement for rlogin, rsh and rcp. some features: - Strong authentication (.rhosts together with RSA based host authentication and pure RSA authentication) - Improved privacy (all communications are automatically encrypted) - Secure X11 sessions (ssh automatically sets DISPLAY on the server machine and forwards X11 connections over the secure (encrypted) channel) - Arbitrary tcp ports can be redirected through the encrypted channel -tb
