You don't need to install cvsup on FreeBSD 6.2 because csup is in the base system. csup is cvsup rewritten in C rather than Modula-3. Works pretty much exactly the same way, reads the same supfiles etc. Apart from using csup instead of cvsup, the rest of the instructions are good.
