My sendmail server is sending cwalk.cwalk.org instead of just cwalk.org. If you do a ns query my domain of cwalk.org is good but cwalk.cwalk.org is not. So when my server passes this along to the questions server it cant do a query on cwalk.cwalk.org so it sends it back. Do you know of a way to make for sure that sendmail sends cwalk.org not cwalk.cwalk.org? I looked at the sendmail.cf file and there is a line about setting this if sendmail cant see what domain you are. I tried that but it doesnt really say how to write it in what format. >From: Kent Stewart >Reply-To: kstewart@urx.com >To: Caleb Walker >CC: questions@FreeBSD.ORG >Subject: Re: Helo command rejected >Date: Thu, 31 Aug 2000 19:49:11 -0700 > > > >Caleb Walker wrote: > > > > Why is that when I send mail through my sendmail to >questions@freebsd.org I > > get an error "(Deferred: 450 : Helo command rejected: > > Host)" > >When I got that, my ISP wasn't setup properly.
