I'm attempting to install a freebsd 2.2.2 from cd onto a new pc. My setup
is as follows:

Pentium II/266
64 megs edo ram
6.4gig quntum fireball udma ide
Promise Technology Ultra33 udma ide controller card
iomega ditto easy
iomega zip
STB nitro 64 4meg pci 3d
ensonique soundscape
mitsumi 12/24x

The quantum is running of the ultra33 controller. The zip and cd are
running off the secondary motherboard ide.

I found that v2.2.2 does not support the ultra33 card, however a new snap
3.0 does.
I still have the 2.2.2 cd. What do I need to do in order to complete an
install? is the cd now useless to me and I need to complete the install via
ftp? Or can I use the new floppy image from the snap dir and install from
the cd still?

I also am running win95 on my primary partition..my drive is setup with 2
partitions, the primary and extended, with the extended split into 2
logical drives. each drive has 2gigs assigned to it. Will there be any
obvious problems with me installing this to the first logical drive in the
extended partition?

Thanks in advance,

Steve
