Greeting- I just booted on a kernel with the test driver installed. So the good news is that the box boots and networking seems to work. Here are the very initial findings: wynkoop@beaglebone:~ % ping www.wynn.com PING www.wynn.com (199.89.147.3): 56 data bytes 64 bytes from 199.89.147.3: icmp_seq=5 ttl=64 time=0.534 ms 64 bytes from 199.89.147.3: icmp_seq=6 ttl=64 time=0.542 ms 64 bytes from 199.89.147.3: icmp_seq=7 ttl=64 time=0.582 ms 64 bytes from 199.89.147.3: icmp_seq=8 ttl=64 time=0.579 ms 64 bytes from 199.89.147.3: icmp_seq=9 ttl=64 time=0.500 ms 64 bytes from 199.89.147.3: icmp_seq=10 ttl=64 time=0.553 ms 64 bytes from 199.89.147.3: icmp_seq=11 ttl=64 time=0.545 ms 64 bytes from 199.89.147.3: icmp_seq=12 ttl=64 time=0.572 ms 64 bytes from 199.89.147.3: icmp_seq=13 ttl=64 time=0.565 ms 64 bytes from 199.89.147.3: icmp_seq=14 ttl=64 time=0.514 ms 64 bytes from 199.89.147.3: icmp_seq=15 ttl=64 time=0.532 ms 64 bytes from 199.89.147.3: icmp_seq=16 ttl=64 time=0.553 ms 64 bytes from 199.89.147.3: icmp_seq=17 ttl=64 time=0.545 ms 64 bytes from 199.89.147.3: icmp_seq=18 ttl=64 time=0.539 ms ^C --- www.wynn.com ping statistics --- 19 packets transmitted, 14 packets received, 26.3% packet loss round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 0.500/0.547/0.582/0.022 ms wynkoop@beaglebone:~ % Meanwhile on the console: login: cpsw0: watchdog timeout ifaddr cache = 0xc1f52400 is deleted cpsw0: watchdog timeout I have no idea what this means to the freebsd using world. I just report what I find. I will report more if there is anything that seems of note. If you would like me to run specific tests please let me know. -Brett -- wynkoop@wynn.com http://prd4.wynn.com/wynkoop/pgp-keys.txt 917-642-6925 718-717-5435 "The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government" - Thomas Jefferson.
