When I boot either FreeBSD-4.0 or 4.1 the boot hangs when it waits for the SCSI devices to settle. No error messages, etc. - just sits there until I do a reset. I've tried 2 different SCSI controllers - Adaptec 1542c and Advansys ABP5140 - no difference. The drive works fine under FreeBSD-2.x, and 3.x (incl 3.5.1) and various Micro$oft OS's, but is completely useless under 4.x. Any ideas?
