Could the requirement for mysql56-client be bumped to mysql57-client? = The 5.6 client does not support SSL/TLS by default, but 5.7 does. = Additionally, I=E2=80=99m not sure if 5.6 is involved in the recent CVE, = but it seems the 5.7 client is not. Library dependencies: libmysqlclient.so.18 : databases/mysql56-client = <http://www.freshports.org/databases/mysql56-client/> Previously, I believe the justification for mysql56-client was a change = in how the 5.7 client handled $dbh->{mysql_insert_id}. Maybe that=E2=80=99= s since been resolved? >=20 > FreeBSD mysql57-client-5.7.10_4 that mysql_insertid always returns 0. = I tried to use the other DBI methods. LAST_INSERT_ID() does work = however (coming from mysql). https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=3D78778 = <https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=3D78778>
