I figure most people can tell that ports/x11-wm/badwm is a > window manager for X11. :-) Right, but the need for commit messages is so that people can tell by looking at the commit mail whether it's an interesting port with something new or different to add, or just another random window manager that has nothing to differentiate it from the other 25987 window managers already in ports.
