I installed gmake, and it works fine. The one thing I'm confused about though is that I've done dozens of similar boxes. FreeBSD 4.3 from CDROM. Use kern-developer as base. cvsup STABLE and PORTS. Install bash2 and wget from ports. Install perl 5.6.1 from source. make world. Funny thing is that this box was giving me grief on the make world as well. Now that gmake is installed, that has gone away as well. What I don't understand is why gmake wasn't installed as part of my kern-developer choice. Weird I tell you. Just weird. :) Thanks for the help! -- - Wayne Pascoe E-mail: wayne.pascoe@realtime.co.uk Phone : +44 (0) 20 7544 4668 Mobile: +44 (0) 788 431 1675 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
