Then other people chimed in saying they'd had similar problems with ISDN. Here's my situation, to review: My FreeBSD machines have Intel Pro 100B NIC cards, and are connected to a 100Mb Cisco ethernet switch, located at a NOC with multiple backbone connections. I had to force the media settings to get them to talk to the switch correctly -- autoconfig wasn't working. That was all working fine before 4.5-RC. My clients who are now having network stalls when connecting to these machines are using Windows PCs, and have DSL and cable modem connections from different cities and providers. All other connections to/from these machines, both on the LAN and from my modem, work fine. The stalls started after upgrading from 4.4-STABLE to 4.5-RC (Jan. 25). I've upgraded again to 4.5-STABLE, and am waiting for a new verdict from my clients.
