I want to boot the system from boot floppies (kern.flp and mfsroot.flp) to use the fixit.flp image. This system is connected to a serial console. I can boot from the floppies just fine to the sysinstall menu on the serial console. I pick the Fixit option and then the fixit floppy option within that. At this point I am prompted to go to VTY4 and type 'exit' when I am done with the shell... Erm, umm, how does one switch to VTY4 on a serial console? I don't think there is such a thing on a serial boot. Anyone have some help for me? How do I recover the system from a serial console? The system on the HDD will not boot to the console. -- Crist J.
