I should be more precise as to sequence: Installed 3.2-RELEASE off June-1999 CDs [did not install ports collection] copied mysql322-server from freebsd.org to my /usr/ports make install fails because of bsd.port.mk, etc install ports collection from CD [slow!] install cvsup and run cvsup ports-all make install fails because of /ltconfig as described above I hope that clarifies my situation.
