Thanks Dan. I have managed to get istgt working. I was trying use without C=
HAP. I thought if I set "AuthMethod to Auto" in istgt.conf it would be suff=
icient. However  I had to comment out the netmask line under [InitiatorGrou=
p1] as well.

I have been using istgt for quite a while with no problems, both as a regul=
ar drive attachment and a full diskless iSCSI boot of Windows.  Check istgt=
's entries in /var/log/messages and see if it logs something useful about w=
hy it refused the login.
