Wrong........ Well, as was mentioned by Mike Smith (?) at USENIX, KDE doesn't know what a build environment is. It's not engineered well and so there lots of tweaky dependencies. Again, I recomend using the ports. Install the x11/qt133 port first, then make install the x11/kde metaport. This is how I did it and it worked fine, esp. with Beta4.
