Good Day,

    I am the proud owner of a 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 AGP video card and i am =
interested in knowing if this card is supported by FreeBSD 4.0-RELEASE. =
I have downloaded this and burned the image onto cd some months ago but =
now that i have the new motherboard and stuff I am wanting to try this =
lovely o/s out.
Here is my system specification, i would love to have a simple guide on =
how to set the following system up and get into the xfree86 gui.=20
system specifications:
-Video: Voodoo5 5500 AGP
-NIC: Realtek RTL8029(AS) PCI Ethernet
-Mother Board: SOYO SY-5EHM/5EH5 V1.3
-Monitor: Nokia 447XS
-Modem: US.Robotics 33.6K Voice INT PnP
-HD: Western Digital 10GB (don't know the exact model, but this isn't a =
problem)
-Keyboard: Acer Ergonomic keyboard (again, don't know the model, but =
it's got windows keys on it, i can always review it if=20
necessary)
there. the cd-rom works fine, infact it works ok, but i can't get =
xfree86 to start, so i am sure it might be one of the listed things that =
cause the problem?

mailto: bonafide@darktech.org
asap.
thanks.
