I bought myself a Logitech RF keyboard today, and it has all those nifty rubber keys on top. I was able to map the keys just fine in XFree86, using our good friends xev and xmodmap. I've mapped them to serve as F13-F25, so that I can bind program execution to them with my window manager. Now, I would like to map the keys on the console. That means I need one of two questions answered: 1) Is there a program like xev that operates on the console, to tell me the appropriate keycode to use in /usr/share/syscons/keymaps files? 2) Is there a definite correlation between X11 keycodes and FreeBSD console keycodes? I thought I noticed a correlation before, but when I applied it to get the new keycode on a different keyboard, it didn't work. -- Andrew Hesford ajh3@chmod.ath.cx To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
