When I upgraded I discovered that the latest greatest version of DBIx-Class didn't seem to make squeezeboxserver very happy. I downgraded to an earlier DBIx-Class release (manually, as described here: http://www.mail-archive.com/freebsd-questions@freebsd.org/msg233242.html ) and things worked. I'd start by getting everything up to the current version (a current perl should be 5.10.1, I believe) and then step DBIx-class back one step and see if that works for you. g.
