If there's no fix, maybe describing the deficiency would > inspire someone to write one. :) There's no problem: my comment was that if you want dependencies to be rebuilt automatically when you upgrade a port, you had better use a tool which rebuilds dependencies automatically when you upgrade a port (like portupgrade) :-) If you just do 'make all install clean' in /usr/ports/x11/XFree86-4-server, then yes, it's going to break the wrapper port which depends on it.
