Without further invenstigation, it seems that malloc.conf is
being processed in the "old" way, where only "pre-jemalloc"
constrol characters are allowed;  out of "about:true", the
characters A, B, U, and R are valid. Are you sure you are
actually using the _jemalloc_ implementation?
