I started off with the original 4.4BSD code, and by iterative modifications I will develop a scheduler that matches the BFS design as specified in http://ck.kolivas.org/patches/bfs/sched-BFS.txt. Last week I did some mid-term benchmarking and found this way an interesting bug - my scheduler causes kernel panics on amd64 arch. So I will now try to find out more about the issue and try to fix it. rudo
