When I try to mount my cd-rom I get the following kernel messages:

acd0: TEST_UNIT_READY - MEDIUM ERROR asc=0x57 ascq=0x00 error=0x00

It's a Toshiba XM-6102B ATAPI cd-rom on a Digital Personal Workstation
600au, running FreeBSD/Alpha 4.7-RELEASE.
Does anyone know what the error means?
