I have a FreeBSD which serves as a gateway to connect LAN workstations to the Internet. The FreeBSD itself connected to the Internet through ppp0 interface (kernel pppd). I want to monitor traffic passed from the Internet to the particular workstation. Fullfilling command like netstat -b -I ppp0(ed0) shows the whole traffic passed through that interface but not to the particular machine. May I solve this problem by the means of only operation system without installing additional network utillites? Victor.
