Does "camcontrol identify daX" fail in your case too? I have used quite a bunch of different USB disks, mostly from WD or Seagate, and these come with varying qualities of USB-SATA bridges in them. But all of them work with "camcontrol identify". -Dimitry --Apple-Mail=_FC6D5932-8C69-48B3-B0D4-26A69E83FB2C Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=signature.asc Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: Message signed with OpenPGP -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG/MacGPG2 v2.2 iF0EARECAB0WIQR6tGLSzjX8bUI5T82wXqMKLiCWowUCX7/1+wAKCRCwXqMKLiCW o9RXAKCsEOwoEKZMwpR2zU0NjEnGlJEDVgCg38hOaNkpigZt2GSZOPlJceaLUP4= =MGlp -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Apple-Mail=_FC6D5932-8C69-48B3-B0D4-26A69E83FB2C--
