The following reply was made to PR ports/74377; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Ion-Mihai Tetcu <itetcu@people.tecnik93.com> To: freebsd-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org, itetcu@people.tecnik93.com Cc: Sean Chittenden <sean@chittenden.org>, AndreasKlemm <andreas@klemm.apsfilter.org> Subject: Re: ports/74377: [MAINTAINER-UPDATE] mail/dspam to post 3.2.2 snapshot Date: Thu, 25 Nov 2004 21:20:54 +0200 And, of course, something like this should go in ports/UPDATING: 20041125: AFFECTS: users of mail/dspam (and mail/dspam-devel) AUTHOR: itetcu@people.tecnik93.com When upgrading dspam-devel from previous versions you should read mail/dspam-devel/files/UPDATING and adjust your make/portupgrade/options accordingly. Please note that now the majority of the compile time options can be set at run-time via the new dspam.conf. If you are using mail/dspam and want to upgrade to this post 3.2.2 snapshot you can do so by using: portupgrade -o mail/dspam dspam-devel.3.1.10_2 Once mail/dspam-devel is upgraded you will be able to switch back with no problems. And please mark mail/dspam-devel as IGNORE "mail/dspam is newer for now, come back in a week or so" since is older and I will provide an update next week. -- IOnut Unregistered ;) FreeBSD "user"
