https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D261887 --- Comment #14 from Stefan B. <sblachmann@gmail.com> --- Wow, this surprises me! Because, my testing showed that vt newcons breaks suspend/resume with _all_ graphics cards I have that are not supported by the Intel/AMD drm-kmod driv= ers, eg. Nvidia, Matrox, ATI, S3, SiS. So I supposed that resuming with vt as console _only_ works if KMS drivers = are installed/loaded. So I felt surprised reading that resuming with vt newcons worked for the 'Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller', even when drm-kmod h= ad not been loaded. If you have the time, I would be very happy if you could check whether suspend/resume works on your computer with the SC console, too. You can enable the SC console by adding this line in /boot/loader.conf and rebooting: kern.vty=3D"sc" --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
