The 'amr' driver for AMI MegaRAID controllers in -current and available for -stable at http://www.freebsd.org/~msmith/RAID/ami has now been tested with the following AMI MegaRAID controllers: Enterprise 1500 aka 467 (new) Enterprise 1300 aka 434 (new) Enterprise 1200 aka 428 aka Dell PERC Enterprise 1100(?) aka 418 Express 200 aka 466 aka Dell PERC 2/SC It is expected to also work with: Enterprise 1400 (we expect a loan unit in a few days) Enterprise 300 (no loan unit forthcoming) Enterprise 1500-H (RAID 0/1 only) Enterprise 1400-H (RAID 0/1 only) Users have also reported success with various HP NetRAID adapters based on AMI products. Thanks to ASA Computers (www.asacomputers.com) for the loan of the Enterprise 1500 and 1300 controllers that were used in this validation. -- \\ Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. \\ Mike Smith \\ Tell him he should learn how to fish himself, \\ msmith@freebsd.org \\ and he'll hate you for a lifetime. \\ msmith@cdrom.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
