I am running Freebsd 3.2-release. I am using this
machine as a gateway to the internet for my LAN.
I am looking at tightening up security and exploring
ipfilter.

I purchased the book "Building Internet Firewalls" 2nd
edition by Zwicky, Coopedr & Chapman.

The notation 192.168.8.0/22 is used. How do you
interpret this ? what does the last 0/22 mean ?

thanks,

Darryl
