I have 2 4.3 GB HDs as master and slave on the primary eide
controller.

master:
    63 sectors for MBR
 250 MB FAT16 dos partition
4GB NTFS partition (NT 4.0 SP4)
(NT booter lets me boot to dos or WinNT)

slave:
63 sectors for MBR (for compatibility reasons)
4.3GB FreeBSD slices , with standard ,normal sizes.
            (with FreeBSD 3.0 installed)
.................................................................................

BootEasy sees the dos/Winnt stuff as F1 = DOS, and displays
the 2nd drive as F2 = ???. If I select F1, I get the normal dos/NT 4.0
boot screen. If I select F2, I get a message that the
kernel was not found. I have installed booteasy on both hds.

I can boot to the install floppy, and boot to 1:wd(1,a)kernel
with NO problem. I'd like to be able to boot from BootEasy.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong ?

Thanks,

Barry A. Tigner
