I am trying to install FreeBSD 2.0 on a Brand New DEC venturis PC
4100 (dx4 100 mhz). It has Phoenix BIOS.

It has a 540A type hard disk (500+ megabytes).

I can boot the first floppy, and it goes ok. I got some complaint about
it using 16 instead of 32 heds.

I also changed the BIOS to use 'OTHER' rather than 'DOS' for the layout
(whatever this does) as it reccomended doing this for anything other than
DOS !

When it reboots I get a F? or similar and it doesn't boot !

any ideas ?

thanks
Dave
