Hi All I have inherited an ARNET Multiport On the PCB it says MULTI-4 REV.2 and Copyright 1986. It was tested at the factory on 2-20-89 It has the following: 4 x 8250 a daughterboard that has another 4 x 8250 A break-out box with 8 female DB-25's labeled P1 to P8 S1 5 DIP sw S2 7 DIP sw S3 6 DIP sw and a jumper that has two positions, A and B The break-out box has loads of jumpers that are duplicated for each port. Each port has jumpers labelled: T/R RTS/CTS DTR/DSR RI/DCD I guess I can remove the 8250's and replace them with 16550's OK?
