If you have FreeBSD installed onto your primary slave device, you need to boot from /dev/wd1 and not /dev/wd0. > waiting 15 sec. for SCSI devices to settle > changing root to wd0s1a > changing root to wd0a > error 6: panic; cannot mount root (2) I don't know how to reconfigure the FreeBSD bootloader yet but I'm sure that someone else with more experience can tell you how.
